Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Floryan is a distinguished scientist working at the intersection of fluid mechanics and applied mathematics. He is internationally recognized for his important contributions to flow instabilities, surface roughness, thermo-capillary convection and rupture of interfaces, dynamics of liquid droplets in electric fields, generalization of mathematical methods, and development of numerical algorithms for the Navier-Stokes equations. During his stay in Germany, Professor Floryan will work on the development of new strategies for flow control. Professor Floryan is hosted by Professor Rist at the Universität Stuttgart. |
